I have now found on the internet, the 'Ian Woosnam' golf course is for residents of the golf development only and not the rest of the world.
look up the Pirin Golf & Country Club - Bankso website. They clearly state a sign has been posted at the entrance - 'this is for residents only'.
MRI sold us the apartments as the course is nearby....
