To continue the topic of snow, we were in Bansko from 27th Dec until 3rd Jan and it snowed continually for at least 36 hours, dropping about a foot of the white stuff, cant say about the skiing as I am a complete beginner. There were a large crowd on the slopes, most days not much of a queue at the gondala if you were early but mid morning of the 31st it was 2 hours, apparently due to the holiday weekend. Got a trip up to Aspen Golf with Aftersales (Alex) but it was blowing a blizzard so no good photos, but guess what, there were people staying at White Fir apts, how did they get article 16 so quickly?

Good question BnI...........How did they get protocol 16

When is Aspen Golf going to get it??? What is MRI saying, I presume that how ever long it takes it will be the same for Aspen Suites.

BnI did you go inside Aspen Golf, What was it like? Finished to a good standard?

Hi Spangle

No we did not get inside, builders on holiday so complex locked up, did see a show apt, 1 bed and we did think the kitchen, furniture etc was of a good standard, much better than where we were staying.

When speaking to MRI rentals a couple of weeks ago trying to arrange accomodation for our recent visit, we were offered Ramada 2 apts and the lady informed us she could not take bookings for Aspen Golf until Feb, promising?

We have flights booked for easter so hope it's ready by then, the place does look brilliant.

Thanks BnI

We fly out on the 5th April and will have a good look around and hopefully have a good week skiing. There is a lot of snow now so it should last until the end of the season.

Does the furniture in the show apartment look like the pictures from MRI or do you think they have furnished it with better furniture? The kitchen must be the same as they are installing it in all the apartments as standard. Can you remember if the TV was a big bulky TV or a neat flat Screen? I have seen pictures on MRI web site of Aspen Golf and that had a neat flat screen but I bet we will get something different in the furniture pack!!

Hi Spangle

The pictures from MRI appear to have been taken at that show apartment. The furniture and kitchen units were of good quality and our guide assured us that the only difference to our own apartments would possibly be colour, definitely the same quality.

The TV in the show apt was a 42inch flat screen, unfortunately not standard. Our recent apt in Bansko had a 21 inch flat screen so hopefully that is the standard.
